A little about me...
I provide counseling to individuals and couples as part of a group practice, The Healing Arts Counseling Center, in our Lake Forest office. I work with clients struggling with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, difficulty adjusting to life changes and stress, and grief and loss. I also have a special interest and training in working with women with perinatal anxiety and depression and am passionate about supporting mothers throughout the postpartum year and beyond.
My practice is focused on holistic treatment and the unique issues each client brings to a session. I use an eclectic approach to therapy, allowing for an individualized plan that you and I both agree upon and work toward. My primary focus is to create a safe and therapeutic environment for clients to use for the purpose of building upon strengths and implementing positive change in their lives.
I have a Master of Arts degree in Community Counseling from Argosy University, Chicago. Professional affiliations include: the American Counseling Association, the California Association for Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors, the National Board for Certified Counselors and Postpartum International.
